Cruelty is contagious and transmissible
And handed down from one generation to another;
When ever a person, a family, a community, or a nation
Sanctions cruelty by calling it justice or self-defense
Or other euphemisms such as right, or God’s will
It teaches the young that cruelty is necessary.
