Compliments are dangerous;
If we truly believe them
We migrate away from our souls
And if we do not, we remain anchored;
To believe that one is exceptional
Is to believe that the rest of us are not
Which is a grave misrepresentation;
Self inflation starves our humility
Which in turn starves our humanity.
